NEW YORK - US benchmark crode confidently cleared yet another psychological hurdle last week in its quest for a new balance after a wobbly start of the year,when the front-month light,sweet contract on the New York Mercantile Exchange closed just above 60/bbl for the first time this year.That close is exactly the average price for the front-month contract over the past six months of roller-coaster trade,which took crude oil from a high of 78/bbl last summer to just below 50/bbl in January.
