Peru to become net hydrocarbons exporter as LNG plant starts up

PERU WILL become a net hydrocarbons exporter when the 4.5m tonnes a year Peru LNG export terminal dispatches its first cargo next month. Hunt Oil holds 50% of the project, Repsol and South Korean SK Group each own 20%, and Marubeni owns 10%. Repsol holds the marketing rights for the first 18-20 years.
