Emissions trading is here to stay and gas and power traders have taken the message on board that they must understand the concept to minimise the impact of the Climate Change Levy and the trading of Renewable Obligation Certificates.But if you talk to most oil traders about emissions trading,their eyes glaze over.This is hardly surprising-although the climate-change industry has become increasingly noisy over the last few years,it has,so far,had no impact on the day-to-day activities of oil traders.
