Rosneft is pressing ahead with plans to establish a new oil export route through Arkhangelsk port,on the coast of the White Sea.The new terminal would handle production from new developments on northwest European Russia,the Arctic sea and,possibly,the north of eastern Siberia.Plans to transform Arkhangelsk into a contemporary oil terminal are well under way.In September,a second jetty was added at the port and dredging work is under way in surrounding waters.
