The Government has told the US Department of Energy(DOE)that,in a situation where as much as 15%of its gas demand is forecast to be met by liquefied natural gas(LNG)by 2020,Trinidad and Tobago should be seen as the"supplier of first resort".It wants to be one of the countries responsible for helping Washington achieve its vision for energy security in an unpredictable world.
