Chevron closes Colombia gas field

Chevron has closed its Riohacha gas field in northern Colombia following significant production declines associated with high water levels. Chevron, in partnership with Colombia’s statecontrolled oil company Ecopetrol, operates the Guajira association gas contract, which includes the Ballena, Chuchupa and Riohacha fields.
