Shtokman solutions under review

Russian state-controlled Gazprom is reviewing the development schemes for its giant Shtokman field in the Barents Sea. It is evaluating two proposals, one from Total and the other from Norwe- gian oil services firm Aker Solutions. Shtokman Development (SDC) — set up to operate the first 25 years of Shtokman’s first phase — had com- prised Total with 25pc, Gazprom 51pc and Norway’s state-controlled Statoil 24pc.
