Abu Dhabi’s state-controlled Adco has pushed ahead with the development of the Mender oil field with the award of a 27-month, $330mn engineering contract to China’s state-controlled CPECC. The field, the southeastern-most of Adco’s assets, will produce 20,000 b/d.
