Anadarko makes deepwater gas find

US independent Anadarko’s deepwater natural gas discovery off Colombia’s Caribbean coast could give the country’s upstream investment prospects a boost. Anadarko is continuing drilling the Kronos 1 well, in the Grand Fuerte block, where it has found gas. The firm then plans to drill the Calasu prospect, around 161km northeast of Kronos in the same deepwater block.
