Saudi Arabia cut its official formula prices again as it looks to defend its market share, especially in Asia- Pacific, helping push down prices everywhere. Atlantic basin benchmark North Sea Dated fell by $4.49/ bl to $91.17/bl in the week to 2 October, a decline of almost $24/bl from a peak this year in June. US benchmark November WTI found support from an unexpected 1.4mn bl crude stockdraw in the US, falling by $1.52/bl to end at $91.01/bl, but Mideast Gulf marker Dubai dropped by $4.60/bl to end at $90.98/bl in London on 2 October.
