Sonatrach boosts Ain Tsila stake

Algerian state-owned Sonatrach is exercising its right of first refusal at the Ain Tsila gas project, where operator London-listed independent Petroceltic was looking to sell an 18.375pc interest. Sonatrach has notified Petroceltic that it intends to absorb this interest, increasing its stake in the project to 43.375pc from 25pc, Petroceltic says.
