Angola readies LNG exports

The $10bn Angola LNG project has offered its first export cargoes for sale ahead of planned commercial start-up next month at the 5.2mn t/yr plant at Soyo. Angola will join Nigeria and Equatorial Guinea as west African gas exporters with the start of operations. Angola LNG has targeted Asia-Pacific as its key export market but early spot cargoes could be sold to Brazil and Argentina.
