Evaluation of Pyrolysis Feedstock by Pyrolysis Gas Chromatography

摘要

A dual gas chromatograph with a pyrolysis reactor for evaluating ethylene pyrolysis feedstock by pyrolysis products was assembled and tested.The instrument with a pulse tubular reactor makes it possible to reliably and comprehensively determine pyrolysis products from various types of hydrocarbon feedstock.To illustrate potential uses of the laboratory instrument,data on testing a set of different naphtha brands are reported.The bench-scale testing data are scaled up to industrial conditions by means of artificial neural networks for more effective use of the results of laboratory tests.
