Peru’s government does not have a timeline for the sale of up to 49pc of state-owned PetroPeru. The firm has to meet several conditions first, including progress on the $3.5bn upgrade of its 65,000 b/d Talara refinery to 95,000 b/d and a corporate reorganisation, energy minister Eleodoro Mayorga says (WPA, 10 October, p11).
