Cyprus has awarded four exploration licences as part of its second offshore round launched in February. The gov- ernment awarded blocks 2 and 3 to a consortium led by Italy’s Eni and South Korean state-controlled Kogas, block 9 to a consortium of Total and Russian firms Novatek and GPB Global Resources — part of Gazprombank — and block 11 to Total.
