Angola starts sovereign wealth fund

Angola has joined other Opec states by creating a sovereign wealth fund based on the country’s oil and gas export earn- ings. The Angola sovereign fund, known as Fundo Soberano de Angola (FSDEA), will invest in Angola and internationally with a focus on infra- structure projects as well as financial securities. It will start with initial capital of $5bn.
