Kuwait and Saudi Arabia have sidelined their 10-month squabble over their jointly operated Neutral Zone to unite and rebuff Iran’s advance on the Dorra field. Iran’s state-owned NIOC has offered investment opportunities near and within the 70km2 field that lies in the Neutral Zone. Poor demarcation of the maritime border has long triggered clashes among the three Opec members.
