Iran cuts gasoline import exposure

Iran’s refinery upgrading programme and demand management measures appear to have bridged the gap between gasoline production and domestic con- sumption. State-owned NIOC has expanded gasoline production capacity at its refineries by nearly 230,000 b/d in just over a year, it says. Iran says it is producing 410,000 b/d of gasoline, just over domestic demand of 400,000 b/d.
