Low interest in Colombian blocks

Colombia’s national hydrocarbons agency ANH received bids for only 49 of 115 oil blocks offered in a bidding round, with the biggest companies com- peting for offshore Caribbean acreage. Blocks classified as unconventional drew only modest interest. Among the bidders were Colombian state-con- trolled Ecopetrol, Spain’s Repsol, Exx- onMobil, US independent Anadarko Petroleum, Shell and Indian state-con- trolled ONGC Videsh.
