State-owned oil company Saudi Aramco has appointed Mohammad al-Qahtani as senior vice-president for the upstream. His remit will include overseeing the 12mn b/d crude capacity of the world’s biggest oil producer and the delivery of the firm’s huge targeted upstream gas expansion.
