Dana Gas fails to repay bond

Abu Dhabi-listed Dana Gas failed to repay a $920mn Islamic bond, or sukuk, which matured on 31 October. The firm is negotiating an extension of the repayment period. The company has struggled to secure payments from its core operations in northern Iraq’s Kurdish region and Egypt.
