Turkey secures Russian gas price cut

Russia will grant Turkish state-owned natural gas importer Botas a 10.25pc price cut.Before the cut,Botas paid $371/’000m3,down from$420/’000m3 in early 2014.The cut is bigger than the 6pc drop that Russian president Vladimir Putin proposed during a visit to Ankara in December.A discount for private-sector importers is also being negotiated.
