摘要

Nigerian state-owned oil firm NNPC wants to end crude and refined products theft within the next eight months. It aims to achieve its goal mainly by improving relations with communities through which pipelines run and implementing new technology, including the use of drones to monitor illegal maritime activity. “In eight months, we must deliver an environment that is free from the vices of oil theft,” NNPC group managing director Ibe Kachikwu says.
