Brazil regulator blocks Polvo sale

Brazilian oil regulator ANP has blocked Danish firm Maersk’s sale of its 40pc stake in the 11,000 b/d shallow-water Polvo field to local independent HRT. Economic indicators presented in the most recent version of the Polvo development plan were unsatisfactory, ANP says, without elaborating on what changes should be made.
