Gazprom gas sales revenue falls

Russian state-controlled Gazprom’s revenue from gas sales to Europe, Turkey and former Soviet Union coun-tries fell by 1.7pc on the year to 32bn roubles ($970mn) in January-June, Russia’s customs service says. The figure excludes exports to fellow cus-toms union members Kazakhstan and Belarus. Volumes rose by 100mn m3 to 92.9bn m3 (see table).
