Oil prices rebounded late in the week, as tight product inventories and geopolitical tensions helped to offset ear- lier losses brought about by weaker economic signals from China and Europe. Atlantic basin marker North Sea Dated fell by 86¢/bl to $110.49/bl in the week to 4 October, having dipped below $109/bl in a downward shift of more than $3/bl a day ear- lier. US benchmark WTI shed 14¢/bl to $91.71/bl.
