BP pursues Abu Dhabi onshore talks

BP is holding 11th-hour talks with Abu Dhabi to be included in the tender for future development of the country's 1.4mn b/d onshore fields. Abu Dhabi last month began pre-qualification for what it describes as a competitive bidding process for the 1.4mn b/d Adco concession, which expires in January 2014. It invited other Adco partners ExxonMobil, Shell and Total but BP has yet to receive an invitation. "Constructive discussions are happening at all levels.
