KMG eyes Kashagan stake

Kazakh state-controlled Kazmunaigaz (KMG) is interested in buying US inde- pendent ConocoPhillips’ stake in Kazakhstan’s 11bn bl Kashagan pro- ject. KMG is ready to buy the 8.4pc stake, which ConocoPhillips aims to sell, KMG president Lyazzat Kiinov said on 2 October.
