India’s RIL steps up exploration

Indian private-sector conglomerate Reliance Industries (RIL) has received environmental approval for exploration activities off the country’s southeast coast. RIL aims to accelerate its domestic exploration, after the government allowed developers to charge market prices for natural gas found in unconventional and deepwater areas.
