Brazil court blocks Frade restart

Chevron’s plan to restart its idled Frade oil field offshore Brazil was dealt a blow on 31 July when a court granted a request for an injunction prohibiting the company and its US drilling contractor Transocean from carrying out activities relted to the extraction and transportof oil in the country.
