Russia’s Zarubezhneft looks at Iranian fields

Russian state-owned Zarubezhneft has signed initial agreements with Iranian state-owned NIOC to evaluate two producing oil fields in western Iran, with a view to future development. Zarubezhneft will study NIOC data for the 1.1bn bl West Paydar and 100mn bl Aban fields and deliver a proposal for a programme to raise the recovery factor at the two fields.
