Shell expects Iraq revenues next year

Shell expects to start receiving revenues from its greenfield Majnoon oil field development and its associated gas pro- cessing joint venture with state-owned South Gas (SGC) in Iraq next year, chief financial officer Simon Henry says. Majnoon will hit 175,000 b/d output early in 2013, triggering payment of a $1.39/bl remuneration fee and cost recovery to Shell, which owns a 45pc stake (WPA, 10 February, p8).
