Norway approves field developments

The Norwegian government has approved development plans for the Edvard Grieg and Martin Linge oil and gas fields, previously known as the Luno and Hild fields. Located in the central North Sea, the Edvard Grieg development－which will cost 24bn kroner ($4bn) to develop－has estimated proven and probable reserves of 186mn bl of oil equivalent (boe).
