Saudi Arabia targets energy savings

Saudi Arabia must target greater efficiency if it is to lower its domestic energy use from 38pc of the country’s oil and gas output, deputy oil minister Prince Abdul Aziz bin Salman says. Growth in domestic energy demand is expected to continue at 4-5pc/yr, doubling from current levels by 2030, unless energy savings can be achieved.
