Food safety is the responsibility of everyone in the food supply chain. Gordon Hayburn, Director of Food Safety at Trophy Foods Inc. in Mississauga, Canada, looks at food safety legislation and explains why the 3rd party audit approach is likely to be the most effective way of verifying the safety of the food supply chain.
