Indonesia delays Arun LNG imports

Indonesia’s 3mn t/yr Arun LNG import terminal should start up in February, about eight months behind schedule. Arun in Aceh, northern Sumatra, was previously a six-train liquefaction plant operated by ExxonMobil with nameplate capacity of around 6.8mn t/yr, but is being converted to a regasification facility because of rapidly depleting gas reserves.
