Liberia extends bidding round

Liberia has extended the closing date for bidding on four offshore oil and gas blocks in its latest upstream licensing round to 14 November from 31 October. The move was based on strong interest in blocks 6, 7, 16 and 17, stateowned oil firm Nocal says.
