Woodside buys Senegal oil stakes

Australia’s Woodside Petroleum is buying US independent ConocoPhillips’ 35pc interest in three licences offshore Senegal for $430mn. The Sangomar Deep Offshore licence includes the SNE oil discovery, which contains 560mn bl of recoverable oil, making it one of the largest deepwater oil finds in the past three years, Woodside says.
