Namibia still wants to develop its offshore Kudu gas field as part of a $2bn gas-to-power project, despite the exit of lead developer UK-listed Tullow Oil. Tullow is in talks with the government in Windhoek to exit the scheme it has been involved in for eight years, the company confirms (WPA, 22 January 2007, p6).
