Venezuela's military eyes PdV fields

Venezuela's military is exploring possible upstream business opportunities at the country's mature oil fields. The defence ministry's oil, natural gas and mining company, Camimpeg, is looking to acquire technical information on reservoirs and associated infrastructure on the east coast of Lake Maracaibo. It has teamed up with US-based Southern Procurement Services to conduct the research, an aide to defence minister Vladimir Padrino Lopez says.
