Audit uncovers Sinopec discrepancies

A Chinese government audit has found a number of financial irregularities by subsidiaries of state-controlled oil firm Sinopec, spanning four years. The discrepancies include wasted investments, the exaggeration of revenues and the underutilisation of refinery facilities.
