Drom fragrances and Fragrance Republic, a club of like-minded fragrance aficionados, hosted an event with master perfumer Jean-Claude Delville on April 29 at drom s New York fragrance studio. Delville talked about his favorite notes and about creating the scent No. 7 for Fragrance Republic. Handing out blotters of the fragrance, Delville spoke of the artistry a perfumer evokes, which he compared to other "sensory pleasures" such as making movies, culinary dishes and composing a song.
