Frontal radiograph of the forearm demonstrates a fracture of the proximal ulnar shaft associated with anterior dislocation of the radial head. Assessment of radial head dislocation is performed by drawing a line through the radial shaft, neck, and head. This line should bisect the capitellum regardless of the projection of the radiograph. If this relationship is disrupted, the radial head is dislocated. This is best evaluated on a lateral view.
