From Darwin to Microsatellites

摘要

This special issue of Pedobiologia contains a collection of papers presented at the 7th International Symposium on Earthworm Ecology (ISEE7) held at Cardiff University, 1-6 September 2002. It is my considered opinion that it represents a significant milestone in the evolution of the field of earthworm biology, as indeed have the volumes emanating from previous symposia in this (approximately) quadrennial series.
