If there's one thing I've learned since joining the team at PVW, it's that going to shows is not good for the ol' bank account. No matter how happy you are with your car, a quick jaunt around a showground on a summer's afternoon is more than enough to get the fingers reaching for the debit card. Big changes would have to wait though, project Bailer still needed to fulfill its daily driver duties, and buses are even less of a attractive proposition when the mercury isn't rising above the minus sign of a morning. Looking out at the mud-splattered thing sitting on my driveway where my gleaming car used to be was only adding to my woes. Still, I had a plan to give my car, and me, a shot in the arm over the winter months and for once, it involved what's under the bonnet. As we all know, there isn't an engine on the planet that wouldn't benefit from some breathing upgrades and my PD130 lump was no different. Ever since Europe-bashing in the Milltek-equipped Project Slow last summer, I knew I wouldn't be happy 'till my Bora was sporting a similar setup.
