Crop prospects good at this early stage in season

The middle of May is an early time of the year to estimate a pecan crop but we have asked a number of sources to make comments on conditions and expectations for their respective areas for this edition of the magazine. Before the next issue is published at the beginning of July, several grower organizations will have made their first "guesstimate" of the upcoming crop. We'll have those for you next month. Here is some of the input we received, on a state-by-state basis.
