摘要

Have you ever heard someone say something like, "Those trees are native, so they won't have a problem in this weather" (whatever that weather may be - drought, flooding, cold, or heat)? I heard someone say that recently when Oklahoma experienced a strong, sustained cold event April 7 and 8. Apparently the person thought the pecans would just go on like nothing happened, but many trees lost their entire crop and some trees took almost 6 weeks to put out new leaves.
