From the Farm: it's time to step up and be counted!

A few weeks ago I was briefed on the current financial status of the National Pecan Shellers' research and promotion fund. The contributions to this fund are completely voluntary and continue the work that the shellers alone started with the Loma Linda University health study several years ago. This opened the door to having valid health claims for the use of pecans in our diet and has really been a boost to all the pecan industry, sheller and grower alike.
