Lithium battery-based electric vehicles, not just cars, but also buses, trucks, and bicycles have increased on the road. Toward expanding the applications of lithium polymer batteries, the first-ever fully electric refuse truck lias been introduced recently. Dow Kokam, a battery solutions company has signed an agreement with PVI, a manufacturer of small- and medium-sized vehicles to deliver advanced lithium polymer battery systems for the fully electric refuse truck that will eliminate 130 tons of carbon dioxide per truck peryear.
