Boron and Carbon Composite Shows superhard and superconducting Properties

Superhard materials with superconducting properties catch much research interests for the development of high-pressure devices for investigating the electric and superconducting properties of various materials under pressure. Jilin University Professor Yanming Ma conducted research on superhard and superconducting materials for years, and recently he synthesized a new composite BC5, a diamond-like material with high boron content.
